ATAM is an OTHER ART festival focusing on musicians and artists using technology and electronic media (but not necessarily digital or “new” media). The festival theme for 2008 is ‘Brand New Retro’ and Coventry legend Delia Derbyshire is our figurehead.

We feel the innovation in technology in the past 100 is mirrored in the history of the City of Coventry. The festival will take place in a number of historical and modern venues in Coventry some of which have never been used for art exhibition before: a medieval crypt, a canal basin, a converted coal vault, a converted cathedral spire and a Tudor school building.

TICKETS

Most of the exhibitions are free. However, you will need a ticket for the 7inch cinema, Delia Derbyshire event (£4 on the door) and the Sonic Boom! event (£7 on the door). There is a combined ticket that allows you to go between these two events - it costs £9 and is available from the Ticket Sellers or The Tin Angel, Medieval Spon Street, Coventry CV1 3AX.

Because the venues we are using have a limited capacity there may only be a small number of tickets available on the door.
